Cat and Dog Flaps

We can fit Cat and Dog flaps allowing you pets to come and go as they please, there is a big range of pet flaps on the market depending on the type you are looking for, you buy the flap and we fill fit it.

Draughty window opening

Normally this needs the hinges (friction stays) replaced, we remove the opening, take off the old hinges, replace them with new hinges, put the opening back into place, job done.

Window handles are not working

Most times it is not the handle but the lock, see below for the answer. But if it is the handle all it needs is un-screwing and replacing once the correct handle is found.

Windows will no longer open

Normally this means the gearing in the lock has broken and the lock needs to be replaced. The first problem is opening the window to fund out the make and model. The second problem is finding a replacement lock as most old locks are no longer manufactured. Once the replacement lock is found and ordered, we will then re-visit and replace the lock.

Draughty and Caching Doors

This can be a few reasons; the door may need toeing and healing by packing the sealed unit in the correct place or adjusting the hinges if possible as some hinges are not easy to adjust.

Locking problems

We do not replace door locks, but we can recommend a very good locksmith if you cannot find one yourself.
