Reglazing service
We remove the offending double-glazed sealed unit and reglaze it with a brand new one that matches what you had in design and tint. Once the new unit has been installed, you would not have known any work has been done (with the exception of wooden frames where the area around the beading will need painting or varnishing).
With the latest new generation of double-glazed sealed units, the glass has a very slight tint, and if this type of unit is installed alongside existing glazing, the tint could be noticed. We would therefore try to use the older type of glass units unless all the units in the same window are changed. All new reglazement sealed units are installed into the existing frames as we believe there are very few existing frames that need completely reglazing.
Unlike our competitors (who will always try to convince you that you must change the complete existing window frames), we will only reglaze the glass. To use a quote from Pilkington Glass, “Why to change the windows when you can just upgrade the glass”. All our double-glazed sealed units are manufactured for us, using the latest glass technology machinery and materials and are fully covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee, whilst the installation work is covered by our guarantee.
